Bedfordshire is a small county located in the very heart of England and measures about 30 miles long and 20 miles wide with the southernmost tip only some 20 miles north of London. It is easily accessible by both road and rail. The north of the County is largely rural and lightly populated with rolling hills and many well signposted walks. The southern end is far more cosmopolitan where the bustling town of Luton is located and also contains Dunstable Downs with its superb views.

The County town of Bedford has a superb Victorian river embankment and miles of riverside walks. Scattered throughout Bedfordshire are picturesque villages, historic houses and gardens, museums & wonderful country pubs.
